Are you a qualified wedding consultant?

Yes we are Professionally trained in America by the Association of Certified Wedding Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC).  The Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC) is a National Organization celebrating sixteen years as the primary registered training and certification programme for Wedding Consultants. The course is registered in the United States by the Department of Consumer Affairs.  Rose McAleenan has established an outstanding company renowned for specialising in unique weddings. The company has a wealth of experience and professional consultants available in the industry.

How involved does the wedding consultant get?

The Role of the Wedding Consultant is not to take over from the bride, the groom or their families.  Rather our role is to assist and advise our clients, to act as a facilitator, to negotiate with suppliers, co-ordinate the event, to keep on top of arrangements and finer details and create a unique and memorable event for all involved.    The nature of our role will be discussed and outlined during our initial consultation with you and involvement varies from client to client depending on individual preferences and requirements.

How far in advance do I have to consider a wedding planner?

A wedding consultant is usually hired ASAP or twelve months before the wedding, around the same time as you visit the officiant, then the reception venue.  By hiring a consultant at this time it will help you embark on your journey to married life.
